Brazil at Silicon Valley helped put Brazil on the Silicon Valley map. It's one of the most important bridges between Brazilian innovation and the Valley.
The Valley was never just garages and genius. It was an ecosystem. And it didn't start with capital. It started because of Stanford.
Silicon Valley takes ecosystems so seriously they have ecosystem job roles (check this one: Chief Connectivity & Ecosystem Officer).
And Brazil wasn't really part of the ecosystem in the Bay Area (a.k.a Silicon Valley) until Rodrigo Xavier built the bridge.
Needless to say, he's carioca. But Rodrigo is, frankly, almost annoyingly impressive.
