About Event

Find the vulnerability. Explain why it matters. Build a defense that works.

Join AI Builders, GMI Cloud, and F5 for a hands-on hackathon where cybersecurity meets AI engineering. Your mission: complete F5’s Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges, then build an AI security copilot using GMI Cloud that turns a discovered vulnerability into a practical, tested defense.

The flag is just the beginning. Show that your copilot can connect attack evidence to a clear explanation, recommend a useful fix, and help your team prove that the fix blocks the attack while keeping the application usable.

Agenda

All times are in Seoul time (KST).

  • 2:00 PM–2:15 PM: Team formation and networking

  • 2:15 PM–3:15 PM: Workshops from F5, GMI Cloud and Nvidia

  • 3:15 PM–4:30 PM: Building time

  • 5:00 PM: Demo and judging time

  • 6:00 PM: After-event mixer and networking over food and drinks

  • 6:30 PM: End

The Challenge

Suggested team size: 3–5 people. Bring together security curiosity, AI skills, and a builder’s mindset.

1. Capture

Solve challenges in F5’s designated CTF environment. Select one vulnerability and document the evidence: what you found, how the attack works, and its impact within the challenge.

2. Explain & Build

Use a model on GMI Cloud to build an AI security copilot that analyzes your challenge evidence, explains the vulnerability, and recommends a concrete fix. Make the reasoning easy to follow: connect recommendations to the evidence and make clear what still needs human verification.

3. Defend

Apply the fix in the organizer-provided sandbox. Demonstrate the before and after: the attack succeeds before the fix, is blocked afterward, and normal use still works.

What You’ll Submit

  • A working prototype of your AI security copilot using GMI Cloud.

  • Before-and-after evidence showing the vulnerability, the applied fix, the blocked attack, and a successful normal-use test.

  • A 3-minute demo that tells the story from discovery to defense and shows where AI adds value.

How You’ll Be Scored

  • CTF results — 30%

  • Effective defense — 30%

  • Useful AI integration — 25%

  • Demo clarity — 15%

A compelling entry combines clear evidence, a defense that holds up under testing, and AI that helps people understand and act.

Who Should Join

AI developers, software engineers, cybersecurity practitioners, CTF enthusiasts, and builders who want to turn security findings into working solutions. Bring your laptop and be ready to build, test, and explain your choices.

Meet the Co-Hosts & Sponsor

AI Builders brings together a community of AI builders, developers, and innovators to learn, collaborate, and build practical projects.

F5 helps organizations deliver and secure applications and APIs across cloud, on-premises, and distributed environments—bringing an application security perspective to the challenge.

GMI Cloud provides AI infrastructure spanning inference APIs and NVIDIA GPU compute, helping teams run models and scale AI workloads. In this challenge, it powers the AI behind your security copilot.

NVIDIA (Sponsor) pioneered accelerated computing. Today, its technology powers the world’s AI infrastructure, transforming every industry.

Planned Support

Proposed sponsor support includes CTF access, security mentors, and a defense sandbox from F5, plus inference credits or GPU access and AI mentors from GMI Cloud. Resource availability and access details will be confirmed by the organizers.

Play Within the Scope

All testing must stay within the designated CTF and sandbox environments. AI assistance must follow F5’s CTF rules.

Capture the flag. Explain the risk. Prove the defense.
