In person panel discussion: Where does AI belong in marketing?
Every marketer is experimenting with AI right now.
Most CMOs don't get that luxury. When you own the brand, the budget, and the team, every AI decision ships to real customers, under a real logo, with your name on the outcome. There's no sandbox.
This makes CMOs the most interesting people to ask the question a lot of us are dancing around: where does AI actually belong in marketing, and where does it have no business being?
This is a panel, where Jacob sits down with:
- Olga Andrienko, CMO at Foxtery, who spent 11 years at Semrush building the brand from bootstrapped startup to a $350M public company, and
- Damien Acheson, a B2B tech marketing executive who's built go-to-market for high-growth companies across the US and Europe and now cofounds Geodes.ai, an AI visibility platform.
...and he pushes them past the safe answers:
Where AI has earned a permanent place in their marketing: the use cases that survived contact with reality
The banned list: the things they've told their teams AI will not touch, and what made them draw that line
The AI mistake that shipped: what slipped through, what it cost, and what changed after
Budgets and teams: what AI is actually replacing in their spend and what a marketing team looks like when they hire today
The ethics they actually wrestle with: AI influencers, fake UGC, undisclosed AI content where "everyone does it" stops being an excuse
The disclosure question: do you tell your customers when AI made it? Would they care? Do you care?
Two people who make these calls for a living might not agree on all of this, and that's partially the point. You'll hear where the lines genuinely differ, and decide where yours is.
And here's what makes this one different from the rest of the series: it's in person.
We're teaming up with AI Campus Barcelona and hosting the panel at their space: a real room, real people, and the kind of conversations that keep going after the panel ends.
Seats are limited to what the room holds, so register now while you're reading this.
Open Q&A at the end.
