​Join us for a kokedama workshop with Glasswing, paired with a modern summertime high tea with Kwento Tea, all in an open-air rooftop setting overlooking the Sound.

​Kokedama—loosely translating to “moss ball”—is a Japanese botanical art form in which a plant’s roots are wrapped in moss and bound with string, creating a sculptural, living piece. These striking plants can be displayed hanging or as tabletop accents, bringing a natural, artful element into any space.

​We’ll begin the afternoon with a relaxed rooftop high tea, featuring Japanese-inspired bites, seasonal teas, and a splash of bubbles as you take in the view. In the second half, settle into a hands-on workshop where you’ll be guided through the process of creating your own kokedama, with a selection of plants to choose from—your finished piece is yours to take home.
