About This Event
AJC’s monthly Cultural Exchange Meetup is a relaxed and welcoming space for people in the Austin area to connect, share, and learn from one another.
Whether you are new to AJC, studying Japanese, interested in Japan, or simply curious about different cultures, everyone is welcome!
At AJC, we believe that while we enjoy sharing Japanese culture, we also value learning about the local culture we are part of — including American, Texas, and Austin communities.
This event is open to the public, and we hope to bring together a diverse and welcoming group of participants.
Who This Event Is For
Everyone is welcome! This meetup may be especially enjoyable for those who:
Want to connect with others in a casual, social setting
Are interested in Japanese or other cultures
Enjoy conversation and cultural exchange
Are new to the area or looking to build community
Prefer a relaxed, informal environment
What You Can Expect

Schedule (Tentative)
6:30 PM: Check-in start
7:30 PM: A quick round of introductions
8:30 PM: End of event. Feel free to stay on.

While this is a FREE event, we kindly ask attendees to support our venue by ordering food or a drink during the meetup. Your support helps us continue offering community events like this.
Notes
Age Requirement: Guests must be 21 or older after 8:00 PM
Photography: Photos may be taken during the event and used on AJC’s website or social media. If you prefer not to appear in photos, please inform AJC staff in advance
Registration: Participants who attend without RSVP may be asked for their email addresses. Your personal information is handled under the AJC Privacy Policy

AJCが初めての方、日本語を勉強中の方、日本に興味がある方、または他の色々な文化に関心のある方など、どなたでもご参加いただけます！
AJCでは、日本文化を紹介するだけでなく、私たちが暮らす地域の文化――アメリカ、テキサス、オースティンの文化についても学ぶことを大切にしています。
本イベントは一般公開で、さまざまなバックグラウンドを持つ方々が気軽に集まれる場を目指しています。
