SPARK!: A concert by The Bridge Music Collective
Spark - “a small fiery particle” which originates from something burning, or is created to ignite something that already exists. What does it mean to spark curiosity, inspiration, or emotion? The Collective will explore this topic through expressive and invigorating chamber music, including eclectic arrangements written for our unique ensemble. Through this exploration, we hope to spark some curiosity, imagination and emotion in the nuanced and complex human being that is you!
The Collective welcomes movement, laughter, discussion, and clapping. Explore music with us in a warm, cozy setting, where refreshments and good company will be provided. A 20-minute intermission will break up the performance into two acts to facilitate meaningful connection between the audience and performers.
The Bridge Music Collective is a chamber ensemble composed of oboe, clarinet, violin, viola, and double bass, and was formed at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 2022. They are redefining the classical music concert experience by actively performing in non-conventional performance spaces with the hope to make classical music fun and accessible for every person. The Commons SF is a community and fourth place rekindling intellectual curiosity, co-created play, & inner-exploration, in the heart of San Francisco.
