Writer's Block Party

​Writer’s Block Wednesday is stepping outside for April.

​For the first time, we’re hosting an in-person + hybrid experience designed to give you space to write without pressure.

​Writer’s Block Party: Draft Mode, IRL is not a workshop or a class. It’s a working session for writers, creatives, and anyone with something they’ve been meaning to start or finish.

​Come with a draft, an idea, or nothing at all.

​We’ll create the environment. You bring the words.

​What to expect:

• ​Arrival + light networking

• ​Creative stations to help you get unstuck

• ​Dedicated writing time

• ​Optional community sharing to close

​Creative stations include:

• ​Word Grab Table

• ​Blackout Poetry Table

• ​Start Anywhere Table

• ​Creative Portraits (ongoing throughout the event)

​We’ll also be streaming our virtual Writer’s Block Wednesday space live, so online participants can write alongside us and join the closing share.

​Light bites (Haitian patties) will be available first come, first served. Drinks including coffee, wine, and beer will be available for purchase at the café.

​Pull up, bring your messy drafts, and let’s see what comes out of it.
