Get Seen, Get Support: Building Influence on LinkedIn
The program officer who could fund your next three years just scrolled past five posts this morning, and none of them were yours. While you've been heads-down doing the work, decision-makers at foundations, family offices, and impact investors have been on LinkedIn, staying current on who's shaping the field. This workshop teaches you to find your voice through mutual recognition: you'll pair up, listen deeply to someone's work, write a post celebrating their insight, and publish it before you leave. No self-promotion, no performance, just practice seeing and being seen.
What to expect
A hands-on, guided experience that combines reflection, peer exchange, and real-time creation. You will leave having written and shared a LinkedIn post, along with a new perspective on how influence can be built through generosity and attention.
Who this is for
Social impact leaders, practitioners, and founders who want to build visibility and influence without relying on traditional self-promotional approaches.
What you will get out of it
A simple, repeatable approach to creating meaningful content on LinkedIn
Practice articulating impact through another person's perspective
Increased confidence in showing up authentically online
A live published post and new connections within the room

Location & access
Accessibility matters deeply to us, and we do our best to choose spaces that reflect that. That said, some of our Oxford venues are in historic buildings without lifts. This room is unfortunately not accessible for wheelchair users, those with mobility challenges, or anyone needing step-free access.
