Journaling + Yoga: Getting Grounded for Better Creativity
Hi! I’m Amy Suto, and in my career as a writer I found that yoga ended up being such a complementary enhancer of creativity. So during my time writing for TV in Los Angeles, I got my yoga certification and began teaching classes at boutique studios and local nonprofits.
I’m bringing this class to The Commons to help share the combination of yoga + journaling that I think creates the best sense of groundedness while also planting seeds of creativity.
This is a 70-minute class that will open with some guided journaling and a chance to share an intention with those around you. Then, we’ll move into a yoga class and end with a meditation.
Here are the details:
When: This Wednesday, May 13th at 3pm in The Commons 550 Studio
What: Journaling + Yoga (open to the public, so feel free to bring friends or +1s) — beginners welcome!
Bring: Your yoga mat if you have one (we’ll have a few extras if you don’t!) and a journal, notebook or some paper
Cost: Suggested donation of $5 (you can bring cash or you can venmo Amy @sutoscience the day of!)
Looking forward to seeing you in class!
