Climate Week 101 w/Climate Tech Cities
Whether you're climate curious or an energy expert, Climate Week can be overwhelming. NY Climate Week is the largest event of its kind in the world: over 1,000 events across seven days, drawing 100,000 or so startups, investors, corporate leaders, scientists, policymakers, and activists into a shambolic run of panels, plenaries, happy hours, and parties.
The most important thing to know is that it's not one big conference. Think of it more as a coral reef, providing the structure for hundreds of independently organized events to swim and thrive. There are big fish, small ones, and dazzlingly weird ones, and never enough time to see them all. You're just as likely to learn something new or land your next role at a morning jog or a karaoke night as at a panel session, so mix it up. Find a balance, be curious, and do your best to pay it forward.
Hundreds of those events never make it onto the official website. Join Alec Turnbull and Sonam Velani from Climate Tech Cities on Tuesday, September 1 for a guide to sifting through the noise and choosing your own adventure: what the anchor events are, how to find the unlisted stuff, how to balance business with culture, and what to do afterward so it all adds up to something.
Bring your calendar. We'll answer whatever you throw at us.
