

AI Animation & Filmmaking Accelerator: Cohort 5
One focused day. Three hands-on studio blocks. Leave with a finished 10–15 second animated micro-short.
Bring a laptop and arrive with the requested creative AI accounts configured. Plan for approximately CA$50 in participant tool usage during the intensive.
Luke Minaker, Mayumi Rollings and Kris Krüg will guide the room from direction and story through motion, sound, editing and critique. Your ticket includes the workshop, a practical resource pack and a private cohort chat.
The day
10 AM–12 PM: Direction, story, audience, world and shot scope
12–1 PM: Break
1–3 PM: References, first and last frames, motion, voice and audio
3–4 PM: Break
4–6 PM: Edit, polish, critique and an in-room cohort screening
Inside Multimodal Media Lab
Hosted at Multimodal Media Lab (MML), a close BC + AI creative partner and the creative home of AI Film Club. MML is a Vancouver studio and research lab for AI film, immersive media and creative technology, at 375 Water Street, Suite 645, one block from Waterfront Station.

The room is capped at 16 participants.
Futureproof weekend
This intensive is a separately ticketed extension of Futureproof weekend. Futureproof admission is not included, the accelerator curriculum is not festival-sponsored, and a festival screening is not guaranteed.
