Global Info Session: Inside the Activator
Are you an academic trainee (Post-doc/PhD/MBA/MD/JD) interested in building a life sciences startup?
Nucleate Activator is looking for passionate biotech founders tackling the biggest challenges in human health and sustainability.
A Founder Info Session: Inside the Activator
September 25 · 12:00 pm ET · Virtual
Most people hear about the Activator from a program page. This session is the other version — two founders telling you what it was actually like.
Aseda Tena (AlVida Biosciences, Activator 2026, Boston) and Sophie James, PhD (Anomer Bio, Activator 2025, UK) are building in very different places: a non-hormonal nanobody theranostic for endometriosis, and AI-designed synthetic sugars that reprogram faulty glycosylation. What they share is the path — both started inside an academic lab and used the Activator to get from "interesting result" to company.
