We’re hosting a night exclusively for in-house recruiters and recruiting leaders, customers and non-customers, who care about doing the work well and learning from the people actually doing it.
Start the evening by grabbing a bite, enjoying a drink, and meeting fellow recruiters and recruiting leaders. This is the perfect chance to connect before the talks begin.
The evening then kicks off with a 20-30 minute panel discussion with Lisa Dunne (Okta), Stephen Cronin (Workhuman) and Tristan Mackrory (Almedia) to take a look back on last year, and whats ahead in 2026.
After that, it’s fast, informal show & tell: short talks and demos from folks who’ve built something, changed a process, or learned a lesson worth sharing. Please note: this does not have to be Ashby specific.
It’s about what works, what doesn’t, and picking up a few good ideas from people doing the same work as you.

We’re not expecting polished presentations. Keep it real, have fun, and share something you’re proud of—or beginning to learn. A few light guardrails to keep things useful:
Rooted in real work
Share something you’ve actually built, run, tested, or changed inside a real recruiting org. Real examples beat theory every time.Start with the pain
Open with the recruiting problem you were trying to solve and why it mattered. Context helps everyone learn faster.Demos welcome (sales pitches aren’t)
Built a tool, workflow, dashboard, automation, or scrappy internal system? Show it.
Recruiting tech ecosystem partners are welcome to attend, but the spotlight is for practitioners sharing their real-world recruiting work.Make it transferable
The best talks leave people with at least one idea they could try, adapt, or rethink soon, whether that’s a process change, a metric, or a mistake to avoid.Finished or unfinished is fine
You don’t need a perfect ending. Partial wins, open questions, and tradeoffs are all fair game.Short and on time
Each show & tell is 5 minutes, followed by 5 minutes for questions. We’ll keep things moving so everyone gets a turn.
How to participate
When you sign up, you’ll see an option to indicate whether you’d like to do a show & tell. If you’re on the fence, that’s okay—raise your hand and we can figure it out together.
We have 50 spots to attend. To make sure there’s a good balance of speakers and attendees, approval requests will be reviewed in batches.
Who it’s for
Recruiters and recruiting leaders who want to learn from peers, share what they’ve built, and connect with others who care about the craft, whether or not they use Ashby. If you’ve built something worth sharing—or you’re curious to see how others are doing the work—we’d love to have you. Due to limited space, we’ll be prioritising approvals for people currently working in in-house recruiting roles.
We’ll have good food, drinks, and plenty of time to hang out. 💜
