Brainstorming Session: Arts, Music, Media, Culture
Join us for a two-hour Future Caribbean AI for The Arts Brainstorming Session hosted by Shontelle Layne, bringing together builders, artists, creators, technologists, operators, and members of the wider creative ecosystem to explore what we should be building at the intersection of Agentic AI, culture, creativity, entertainment, and the creative economy.
The Caribbean has an extraordinary global cultural footprint — across music, carnival, fashion, film, storytelling, visual art, language, movement, and entertainment. But the infrastructure surrounding that creativity has not always captured or returned the full economic value created by Caribbean artists and cultural industries.
This session is about changing that.
Together, we will brainstorm where Agentic AI can create new infrastructure for the arts: from music royalties and rights management to artist operations, festivals and events, global distribution, audience intelligence, creator marketplaces, cultural archives, sponsorship, licensing, diaspora engagement, and entirely new creative business models.
We will also explore a bigger question:
How do we use Agentic AI not only to create more content, but to build the systems that allow creators to own, distribute, monetize, protect, and scale what they create?
This is an open working session. Builders are encouraged to bring what they are developing, the problems they are trying to solve, and the questions they need answered. Artists and creative-industry professionals are encouraged to bring the real-world problems, bottlenecks, and opportunities they believe technology should address.
Hosted by Shontelle Layne.
All are welcome to join.
