​Cet événement célèbre l'engagement des jeunes dans la lutte contre les changements climatiques en mettant en avant le projet ClimAdos, une initiative de recherche participative dans le cadre de laquelle des jeunes Montréalais.es partagent leurs points de vue sur les changements climatiques à travers de courtes vidéos tournées avec leur téléphone portable (les « cellphilms »). L'événement donne une plus grande visibilité aux voix authentiques des jeunes et illustre pourquoi il est essentiel de les impliquer dans des projets environnementaux.

​Projection de « cellphilms » (en boucle, de 14 h à 18 h) : Découvrez les « cellphilms » réalisés par des jeunes de Montréal-Nord dans le cadre du projet ClimAdos.

​Discussion participative (de 18 h à 19 h) : Échangez avec les équipes de la Fondation David Suzuki et du projet ClimAdos sur l’engagement des jeunes dans la lutte contre les changements climatiques et les initiatives de recherche participative menées par les jeunes.

​À propos de ClimAdos : ClimAdos est un projet de recherche participative mené par un groupe de quatre jeunes chercheuses de Montréal-Nord et soutenu par l’Université de Montréal, en collaboration avec la Fondation David Suzuki et la DRSP de Montréal. En utilisant une approche visuelle, le projet vise à amplifier la voix des jeunes et à identifier des stratégies de sensibilisation aux changements climatiques.

​This event celebrates youth leadership in climate action by showcasing the ClimAdos project which is a participatory research initiative where young Montrealers create and share their perspectives on climate change through cellphone videos (cellphilms). The event amplifies authentic youth voices and demonstrates why involving young people in environmental projects is essential.

​Cellphilm screening (on loop, 2PM-6PM): Discover the cellphilms created by young people from Montreal North created as part of the ClimAdos project.

​Participative discussion (6PM-7PM): Exchange with the David Suzuki Foundation and the ClimAdos teams about youth engagement in climate action and participatory research initiatives on climate change.

​About ClimAdos: ClimAdos is a participatory research project led by a group of four youth researchers from Montreal North and supported by the University of Montreal, in collaboration with the David Suzuki Foundation and Montreal Public Health. By using a visual approach, the project aims to amplify youth’s voices and identify strategies to raise awareness of climate change.
