About Event

Season 3 of Artwrld Sesions is presented in partnership with Rhizome, the international hub for new media art.

Each session is recorded for a live online audience and co-presented by Michael Connor, Executive Director of Rhizome, and Josh Goldblum, Artwrld Founder and CEO. This week we welcome internationally acclaimed artist and filmmaker Lynn Hershman Leeson.

Hershman Leeson will present a selection of works spanning 5 decades of work, including her current exhibition Deep Fake at Hoffman Donahue in Los Angeles which fuses celebrity portraits in her Hero Sandwiches series to expose how gender and identity are constructed.

Following the presentation, Hershman Leeson will field questions from the audience.
