​JETROは、米国のスタートアップ支援組織 LAUNCH と連携し、著名なエンジェル投資家 ジェイソン・カラカニス氏 を講師に迎え、Angel University in TOKYO を開催します。

​本プログラムは、米国シリコンバレー発のエンジェル投資家育成プログラム「Angel University」の特別開催で、日本のエンジェル投資家が世界水準の投資理論と実践スキルを学び、優れたスタートアップを見極める力と、投資家としての国際的視点を養うことを目的としています。

​Jason Calacanis（ジェイソン・カラカニス）氏
LAUNCH ジェネラル・パートナー。テクノロジー起業家でありファンドマネージャー。
ポッドキャスト『This Week in Startups』のホスト、さらにAll-In Podcastの共同ホスト兼エグゼクティブプロデューサーとしても知られています。キャリアの始まりは、シリコンバレーのトップVC Sequoia Capital のスカウト。
その後エンジェル投資家として活躍し、Uber、Thumbtack、Robinhood、Calm、Athena、Superhuman など

A technology entrepreneur and fund manager, Jason is best known as the host of the podcast This Week in Startups and as co-host and executive producer of the All-In Podcast.

​He began his career as a scout for leading Silicon Valley venture capital firm Sequoia Capital, and later became one of the world’s most prominent angel investors—backing over 550 early-stage startups, including Uber, Thumbtack, Robinhood, Calm, Athena, and Superhuman.

​He is also the author of “Angel: How to Invest in Technology Startups” (HarperCollins, 2017), a globally acclaimed guidebook for aspiring and active angel investors.
