Hardware Hacks: Sketching

​This Monday:

​Ever had an idea in your head but struggle to get it onto paper? We'll cover the basics - perspective, proportions, shading - and show you how to use sketching as a thinking tool, not just for making things look pretty.

​Whether you want to sketch out a new project idea, practice drawing objects around the space, or just learn some techniques to improve your creative workflow, you just need to bring your curiosity and a pen/pencil. Santiago has filled countless sketchbooks over the years and will share what actually works (and what doesn't).

A resident of Akatos house, Santiago is the hardware guru. Yes, his Iron Man Suit project is famous; but he is better known for his thoughtful disposition, hardware hackathon wins (including aquatic fish and Bass Bot, a robot that plays guitar), and has in-depth knowledge of hardware assembly (mechanical, electrical, and embedded) on a large-scale.
