Create-A-Thon #3: A weekly build for whats emerging
Every Sunday, builders, artists, founders, healers, writers, organizers, and curious strangers gather in the back room of a vegan restaurant in the East Village to make something together.
It’s a weekly, interdisciplinary action space for people who want to turn ideas into something real.
It’s a room for creationship. For seeing what happens when people bring their skills, questions, and half-formed ideas into the same space.
Come with a project, a skill, a question, or no plan at all. You’ll meet people quickly, form a small team, and spend the afternoon building. By the end, something exists that did not exist before.
Last week, three teams launched three live projects in a single afternoon.
People come back because the room works. The mix is unusual. A muralist, therapist, and software engineer can end up at the same table making something none of them could have made alone.
That’s part of the point. Friendship is infrastructure. Trust, curiosity, generosity, and repeated gathering are not side effects of the work. They are what make new systems possible.
No one fully knows what the room will become by 4pm. Small connections turn into prototypes. A stray comment becomes a concept. Someone brings a problem, someone else brings a strange skill, and suddenly there’s momentum.
✨ New here? Arrive at noon. Order food, meet people, get oriented. You do not need a project or know anyone.
🔁 Returning? Bring what’s live, half-built, or still forming.
