About Event

With increased adoption of internal AI tools and automation, Japanese organizations face complex challenges in protecting employee privacy and securing data flows. This session examines how large corporations in Japan are implementing cybersecurity governance and adapting to new requirements such as Digital Product Passports and digital ID systems. Attendees will gain insight into the intersection of regulatory development, enterprise strategy, and opportunities for technology providers in Japan’s expanding cybersecurity landscape.

Speaker: Leonid Posadskov

Leonid Posadskov is Founder & CEO of Luminari, a Tokyo-based Security First Advisory Bureau operating at the intersection of cybersecurity consulting and product innovation. He holds a Master's degree from NRNU MEPhI and an Executive MBA from Valar Institute. Throughout his career, including roles at IBM and Ericsson, Leonid has advised organizations across FinTech, Telecommunications, Retail, and Entertainment on architecting scalable solutions, implementing security best practices, and building high-performing technology teams. He specializes in automation and AI-driven security architectures across cloud and hybrid infrastructure. At Luminari, Leonid operates on dual tracks: providing security-first advisory to Japanese enterprises, international corporations, and startups navigating the Japanese market, while developing Siminari, a cinematic gamified training platform designed to address persistent human-factor vulnerabilities in security awareness. He also hosts the Luminari Conference, convening industry leaders from organizations including Toyota, Salesforce, GMO, and Rakuten to advance security innovation and foster cross-sector collaboration in Japan's cybersecurity ecosystem.
