GARN Indigenous Council Global Meeting & Celebration of Inter-Tribal Rights Rights of Rivers Alliance
During New York Climate Week, GARN’s Indigenous Council will convene Indigenous leaders from around the world to explore Indigenous-led Rights of Nature as a pathway toward climate justice and a post-extractivist future. The gathering will be followed by the public launch and celebration of the Inter-Tribal Rights of Rivers (IROR) Alliance, a growing network of Indigenous Peoples, Tribal Nations, and allies working to defend rivers, watersheds, and the ecosystems they sustain. Join us in New York for this important gathering and celebration of Indigenous leadership in the Rights of Nature movement.
Organized by: Global Alliance for the Rights of Nature (GARN), GARN Indigenous Council, Movement Rights, Women’s Earth and Climate Action Network (WECAN), Pa’thata
