Krista Medlock is a brand strategist, community engagement expert, and Founder of The Girl Cave, a collaborative collective and platform designed to connect, develop, and elevate women across business and leadership. With more than 20 years of experience, she has helped build, position, and launch over 70 brands across beauty, retail, wellness, and service-based industries.
Her background spans senior executive roles in marketing and strategy, including leadership positions with nationally recognized brands such as Sally Beauty, Alberto Culver, and Craig Ranch Fitness & Spa, as well as strategic consulting across emerging and established companies. Her work sits at the intersection of brand strategy, consumer behavior, and market positioning—focused on how organizations and leaders communicate in ways that influence perception, engagement, and decision-making.
In addition to her corporate and consulting work, Krista is the Founder and Chief Experience Officer of The Girl Cave, where she has built a growing national platform that provides economic and social opportunities through events, media, education, and collaborative initiatives. She is also a bestselling author, former television personality, and has held titles including Miss Lake Highlands, Miss Richardson, and Miss Highland Park.
Krista serves on community and leadership boards, including Leadership Plano and the ArtCentre of Plano, and is recognized for her ability to bring people, ideas, and strategy together in ways that create meaningful growth and lasting impact.
