How to apply AI in Qualitative Research Data Processing
This ethics-centred session reflects on AI as a tool in the toolbox, rather than as a replacement for qualitative research. It will discuss the ethical, legal, and methodological risks involved in using AI for transcription and the anonymisation and de-anonymisation of qualitative research data and provide guidance on how to overcome it.
In this live webinar, Dr. Loreta Tauginienė, Associate Professor at Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania), will explore how AI can be responsibly and effectively applied in qualitative research data processing.
With over 10 years of experience in academic ethics, and serving as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Academic Ethics, member of the COPE Council, and Advisory Board member of the French Office for Research Integrity, Dr. Tauginienė brings a unique perspective at the intersection of AI, qualitative analysis, and research integrity.
