Baia Gallery | Contemporary Art Space

​An exclusive stop on the GTWT2026 city trail, June 21. Step into a contemporary art space and discover a carefully curated world of contemporary Georgian art. “Baia Gallery” opens the exhibition “The Map of Georgian Art”, This exhibition is the third edition of the project bearing the same title. The show brings together artists represented by the gallery throughout the years: with new works, familiar objects, and remarkable discoveries. The exhibition will also introduce a new participant - the renowned photographer Natela Grigalashvili.

​Participating with one or several works are: Niniko Morbedadze, Maka Batiashvili, Guranda Klibadze, Natela Grigalashvili, Zaza Berdzenishvili, Goga Japaridze, Luka Lazari, Koka Ramishvili, and Kako Topouria.

​The artists have been united by several common characteristics - they are the ones who, within contemporary art, created the map of Georgian art; established their own territories; “opened” new visual worlds; “invented” new characters; and introduced new systems, positions, contexts, emotions, and voices.
