The ecocentric language of the Tree of Life (for the Regen Collective Festival)
Can humans become wiser by learning to express themselves as deeply relational living beings? Can we develop a survival strategy to pass down to our descendants as all other species have done? Can we bring the metaphor of regeneration to a practical, testing ground, to then be able to call the ground Land or River?
Maria Emanuela Galanti (MEG) created LTL, the language of the Tree of Life, to give an affirmative answer to these questions. In the first part of this workshop, she will discuss it with Denise Pang, Festival Organizer for the Regeneration Collective, and Csilla Sztarinka, co-facilitator of the experiential workshop series "Miniatures of Evolution." The second part of the workshop will be experiential. We will work with the ancestral branch of a tree of life using a tool from Joanna Macy and Jess Serrante's Work that Reconnects.
Please come prepared by reading beforehand the "Miniatures of Evolution" brochure,
and the 7th generation exercise,
