Kirsty Whelan, Managing Director of Strategy at earned-first, creative marketing agency, /prompt., isn't your typical marketing executive. With a background rooted in behavioral science and a passion for design thinking, she brings a unique perspective to the challenges of brand building and consumer engagement. Kirsty's career has spanned a diverse range of industries, from healthcare to consumer goods, partnering with global giants like Pfizer, J&J, L'Oreal, and GSK.Beyond her agency experience, Kirsty is a dedicated collaborator in the academic sphere, co-creating strategic models with institutions like Jefferson University and Columbia University to help brands better connect with their audiences. And just to prove that even strategists have unexpected origins, Kirsty's initial career aspiration was a foray into the world of political communications as a press secretary.It's this unique blend of analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and collaborative spirit that allows Kirsty to consistently deliver innovative strategies that not only meet the demands of today's market but also anticipate the trends of tomorrow.
2. Rosie Yakob (CONSULTANT & FREELANCER PERSPECTIVE)
Rosie is the co-founder of nomadic creative consultancy, Genius Steals. She and her partner Faris have been living nomadically (without a home base) since March 2013, traveling for clients and being inspired by the world in between engagements. She believes that brands can create and curate culture, and connect to people in ways that create value for both. Rosie’s passion lies in developing non-traditional ways to solve business problems, and connect brands to culture. She has worked with iconic people and brands like Jay Z, Oreo, Coca-Cola, InterContinental Hotels, Gibson Guitars, and Nestle amongst others.
Rosie has written for publications including Fast Company, Digiday, WARC & SocialFresh.com and has had presentations featured on the front page of Slideshare. Her work has been awarded by Cannes, CLIO, Facebook and the Addy’s. She is passionate about moving the industry forward and has served as an advisory board member of Ladies Who Strategize (LWS) since 2024, she’s also been on the 4A’s Jay Chiat Social Media jury and taught at Miami Ad School Brooklyn in addition to speaking at conferences around the world.
