Interactive Project Showcase: Shumka x Alaphia
Join us for an exciting evening of interactive presentations for Shumka x Alaphia—an applied industry research collaboration with Vancouver-based planning practice, Alaphia Financial Wellness, and learn how emotion-aware interface design, serious game mechanics, and data interaction can address the “knowledge-behaviour gap” in financial wellbeing.
Tuesday, June 16 | 5:30 – 7:00PM PST
B2160, Rennie Hall (Level 2), Emily Carr University of Art + Design
The project team, consisting of Faculty Manuhuia Barcham and Nadia Beyzaei alongside Research Assistant Selina Kang, will spotlight their research-informed production work on Sereniful, a next-generation financial wellness application designed to help users build healthier emotional and behavioural relationships with money. You'll also have the opportunity to view the project outcomes through posters and interactive activities, participate in a Q&A, and network with the project team.
