Climate Art Meet Up: International Artist Exchange

​​Join the City of San Jose in an international artist exchange with the City of uMhlathuze, South Africa, for an artist conversation and exchange. This event is part of the Race to Reliance and Culture fellowship with the U.S. Office and Africa Secretariat of ICLEI –Local Governments for Sustainability, a global network.

​​Representing San José includes 2025 Creative Ambassador and Resilient Artist Steven nizottes Rubalcaba and Culture Creator Folake Phillips, founder of AWỌ Organization.

​South African visual artist Ben Thusi and performance artists from Elangeni Community Development.
