London Climate Action Week is full of climate conversations. Many are useful. Some are loud. A few become rooms where soLondon Climate Action Week is full of climate conversations. Many are useful. Some are loud. A few become rooms where something actually moves.

This breakfast is designed to be one of those rooms.

Join us for a small, curated breakfast salon focused on one practical question:

What needs to be true before CO₂-to-materials, carbon-to-value, SAF, and adjacent climate pathways become credible, financeable, and scalable?

This is not a panel, a pitch session, or a broad networking event. It is a no-slides-needed breakfast conversation for people building, funding, buying, verifying, underwriting, and shaping the next generation of climate assets.

Over coffee and a proper breakfast, we’ll explore how carbon moves from climate story into materials, fuels, products, and financeable infrastructure.

Confirmed contributor voices

This is not a formal panel, but the room is being shaped around a few confirmed voices who will help seed the conversation across science, founders, industry, finance, and market-building.

Confirmed voices include:

Prof. Myles Allen, University of Oxford — scientific perspective on geologically balanced fuels, durable storage, and credible climate claims.

Prof. Nilay Shah, Imperial College London — remote scientific framing on CO₂-to-materials, SAF, systems thinking, and what needs to be true before these pathways become credible.

John C. Waite, CEO & Co-Founder, PhycoBloom — founder / operator perspective on turning CO₂ into fuels and climate value.

Olia Filippova, Investment Director, Emerging Technologies, Siemens — industrial / corporate perspective across sustainable materials, SAF, chemicals, minerals, and deep tech adoption.

We are also curating voices from CO₂-to-materials startups, finance, insurance, market infrastructure, buyers, and deployment-oriented climate investors.

The goal is not to create another stage. The goal is to create a room where the right people can ask better questions together.

Why this edition, why now

CO₂ utilisation and carbon-to-value pathways are entering a more serious phase. The question is no longer whether carbon can become something useful, but whether these pathways can become credible enough for buyers, funders, insurers, and market-builders to support at scale.

This edition focuses on the bridges between scientific credibility and market language; sustainable materials, SAF, durable claims, and financeability; what buyers, funders, and insurers need to believe; and how early deployment pathways become underwritable.

Format and vibe

A small-room breakfast conversation, not a stage.

We’ll open with a short scientific framing to give the room shared language, then move into a curated, salon-style discussion across founders, financiers, buyers, scientists, and market-builders.

No slides. No panels. No stage. Just a thoughtful room, a proper breakfast, and enough structure to make the conversation useful.

Who this is for

The breakfast is curated to balance founders and operators, investors and capital providers, buyers and corporate climate leads, MRV / science voices, market infrastructure builders, and East-West connectors shaping how new climate pathways become real.

Registration is reviewed to keep the mix balanced.

If you can’t be in London, the Coffee in Spirit ticket lets you support the room and follow key takeaways afterwards.

Cancellation / refund policy

This is a small, curated breakfast with restaurant headcount commitments.

Refunds are available until 72 hours before the event. After that point, tickets are non-refundable because final numbers are confirmed with the venue.

If you can no longer attend after the refund deadline, you’re welcome to suggest a relevant replacement guest, but all substitutions still need to be approved by the host to keep the room balanced.
