Explore secondhand treasures, enjoy lunch, learn from New Haven’s slow fashion champions, take part in an upcycling workshop and repair café, and win prizes throughout the day.

What is Helix?

Helix is a resale marketplace that turns clothing into living archives. Buy, sell, rent, and repair garments locally through a platform that unites resale, garment care, and storytelling in one place. For the first time, Helix allows resellers to keep earning commission as their original items continue to circulate.

Helix was developed as a student venture at Yale University and MIT by twin sisters Maya Caine (Yale School of the Environment) and Mica Caine (MIT Department of Urban Studies and Planning). Learn more at helixcommons.com
