Korea is one of the most interesting places in the world to have this conversation. The country has already experimented with digital identity, CBDCs and tokenized deposits, data portability, institutional blockchain infrastructure and consumer wallets at significant scale.
The experiments are happening. The bigger question is how individual pilots become shared infrastructure that institutions can actually build on and people can trust.
That question becomes even more important in the age of AI.
Every AI agent depends on data, identity, permissions and the ability to act on behalf of a person or organization. Who controls that data? Who gives permission? How is consent verified? And what infrastructure sits underneath it all?
