​⚡️Every Body Moves: [Dance Style] Dance Ambassador Training

​Love to dance? Come share the love. 

​Street dance culture grows because people pass it on. Cyphers aren't performances, they're exchanges. Someone takes a chance, someone responds, and culture grows.

​We want to show you how to open up the circle

​Become a Dance Ambassador: you'll learn how to welcome people into the experience of street dance. Not by performing for them, but by dancing with them. You will help them remember  what they learned in class, and show them that the dance floor belongs to them too.

​In this training, we'll cover the foundations of [Dance Style] with [Dance Teacher], its roots, energy, and perspective, and how to help others connect with it.

​We'll practice:

• ​Foundational moves

• ​The energy, vibe, and why

• ​How to invite people into movement without pressure

• ​How to help newcomers feel comfortable taking their first steps

• ​How to create the kind of dance floor you wish existed everywhere

​You'll receive free admission to the final Future of Us event: Every Body Moves, a street dance class and DJ party where you'll help give people a taste of how fun and rewarding it can be to be brave, embodied, and connected through the power of a shared cultural language.

​The time is now because people are hungry for real experiences. Not more content. Not more spectatorship. More moments that ask us to show up, participate, and connect with each other.

​Belonging doesn't happen automatically. Every generation inherits a culture and decides whether to participate in it, pass it on, or let it fade. Dance Ambassadors help keep the circle open.

​As a Dance Ambassador, you'll get a free ticket to Every Body Moves: Dance Together SF on July 12, where you'll help bring that experience to life.

​Launching on America's 250th anniversary, the inaugural Future of Us festival is a 10-day celebration of civic imagination and possibility. We're turning community-sourced, expert-crafted visions of the future into art, storytelling, and participatory experiences. With 100+ events spanning every corner of the city (floral labyrinths, speculative future worlds, dance parties with a purpose, and neighborhood meet-ups), it's a living exploration of what a more creative and generative civic culture could feel like.
