Thiago is currently in charge of the Trade Bureau (SECOM) and the Science Technology and Innovation Office (SECTEC), and he has served as a career diplomat of the Brazilian Foreign Service since 2006, having worked in the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Itamaraty) in Brasília and in different diplomatic offices outside of Brazil.
