About Event

This is an RPG Fest event; we'll be playing an in-person tabletop roleplaying game with a small group. The game will be hosted in Western Queens. Come prepared to roleplay!

Negocios Infernales

The place: Espada (not at all like Spain). The time: 15th Century (or so); you know...around the time of the Inquisition. What: You fear the power of others, and you want to consolidate more power for yourself. So of course when demons (actually aliens) offer the members of the royal court a deal for magical power everyone (of course!) takes that deal. The "catch", don't do the Inquisition. So now you have a tangled web of powers, wants, desires, and TOTALLY not taking advantage of others for political gain - and a "demonic" advisor to guide you through making the world a "better" place. (Too bad humans are...human).

A GMless, diceless game played through a special tarot deck designed to build characters, develop stories, and determine the fate of the world by either saving it...or failing in the (best) worst way imaginable. The tone is comedic and macabre, with lots of hijinks, a fair amount of satire, and not an ounce of seriousness to be had. The entirety of the characters and storyline will be developed in the session. No experience with roleplay needed.

Note: The game is likely to require 5 hours (maybe more?) to run. Please take note when signing up as it is likely you will be unable to play a second game this day.
