Residentials Vol X: Founder Fireside & House Party
This event is FREE for members. Apply for a membership here :)
We work harder. Let's play harder.
Life as a Founder can be lonely. And the places where we go for connection are mostly stiff and formal. At PLUGGED, we blend serious ambition with serious fun - plugging in and out, in equal measure.
Why only ~work~ from home?
Welcome to the Residentials, a series of founder-focused house parties.
We start with knowledge-sharing and end with ✨ vibes stacked on vibes ✨
For our 10th edition, we're returning home to where it all began right in the heart of Peckham.
THE AGENDA 📝
PLUG IN (8:00pm → 9:00pm) - Fireside Chat
A cosy (and literal) fireside chat in our living room....with Moises Barbera Ramos - Forbes 30u30 & ex-CERN:
Most founders don't start by helping build dark matter detectors at CERN.
Moises did.
Before founding Claro Surgical, he built AI for self-driving cars in China, worked on particle physics in Switzerland, and pursued research into next-generation accelerator technology. But the problem he couldn't stop thinking about came from much closer to home: trauma surgery.
Having grown up around operating theatres, he saw firsthand how complex bone fracture procedures remained painfully slow, difficult, and prone to failure.
Today, Claro Surgical is changing that using AI to cut the 36% trauma surgery failure rate and slash broken-bone operations from two hours to 20 minutes
Forbes 30 Under 30 and backed by $2.5M in funding, Moises is building at the intersection of deep tech, healthcare, and AI.
Join us as we unpack the journey from physics labs to operating rooms, raising venture capital for frontier technology, and what it takes to build technology that saves lives.
