Generation Uncoupled: America's New Gender Divide and the Crisis of Human Connection
In his new book, Generation Uncoupled, AEI’s Daniel A. Cox asks why young men and women have stopped connecting with each other. Drawing on extensive survey research and over a hundred hours of interviews and focus groups, Dr. Cox traces how immersive digital life, polarized politics, and overstructured childhoods have bred fear, resentment, and social avoidance—leaving a generation that’s dating less, trusting less, and unsure of what it wants. Rather than assign blame, he calls for a cultural reset.
Join us for a conversation with Cox about what a generation loses when connection moves onscreen—and what it would take to rebuild it.
This event is free and open to the public. Chick-fil-A lunch will be served and copies of the book will be available to the first 30 attendees.
