​As we gear up for the BioSolutions Hackathon, we’re kicking things off with our official pre-hackathon learning sessions—designed to help you build context, confidence, and real technical intuition before you start building.

​We’ll break down complex ideas into accessible, real-world concepts across two sessions:

• ​Decoding Biology with Aneesa Valentine — an introduction to single-cell analysis, bioinformatics, and foundation models, and how they’re transforming research and industry

• ​Building Agentic Systems with Farron Rucker — how AI systems are evolving from tools into decision-making collaborators in biology
