​Ecotopia by Ernest Callenbach – A classic vision of a secessionist, steady‑state, ecologically centered society; often cited in degrowth/solarpunk contexts.

​Join Klaudia and Zuzanna for an open and engaging conversation about books exploring degrowth, sustainability, and alternative ways of organising our economies and societies.

​Together, we will reflect on the ideas, questions, and challenges raised by selected degrowth literature:

• ​What does “degrowth” mean in practice?

• ​Can we build prosperous societies without endless economic growth?

• ​How can degrowth address climate change, inequality, and ecological limits?

• ​What alternative futures can we imagine—and how might we create them?

​Whether you are already familiar with degrowth or simply curious to learn more, this book club is a welcoming space for discussion, critical thinking, and the exchange of perspectives. You are welcome to join even if you have not finished—or read—the selected book.

​Come prepared to share your thoughts, listen to different viewpoints, and explore how degrowth connects to our everyday lives, communities, and collective futures.
