Tech Summit Tour: Bringing Technology Insights, Opportunities, & Resources to Colleges Around the Nation
The HBCU Web3, VC & Tech Summit Tour arrives at Voorhees University in Denmark, South Carolina on October 23, 2025, for an inspiring and community-driven day focused on technology, innovation, crypto, fintech, and entrepreneurship.
This statewide initiative—led by Black Meta Agency and powered by Stand With Crypto—is designed to bridge the gap between education, innovation, and opportunity, giving students and community members access to the tools, insights, and career pathways shaping the digital economy.
Hosted by the Voorhees University Office of Student Affairs, under the leadership of Vice President Dr. Adrian West, and supported by President Dr. Ronnie Hopkins, the event will feature dynamic speakers, interactive panels, and opportunities for networking with tech founders, investors, and innovators.
Stand With Crypto, the national movement empowering civic engagement and financial literacy through blockchain technology, will serve as a major partner—offering crypto education, blockchain awareness resources, and expert speakers to help participants better understand digital assets and decentralized finance.
The Tech Summit will take place in Mass Hall from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, followed by a Networking Lunch from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM where students and community members will meet one-on-one with speakers and mentors to discuss career opportunities, investing strategies, and emerging tech trends.
We’re also excited to welcome Denmark Technical College, whose students and community members will join the experience to expand the impact of this shared learning and collaboration.
As part of this initiative, Stand With Crypto and Black Meta Agency are inviting additional partners and sponsors to join the movement by donating digital assets, AI software subscriptions, or educational resources for Voorhees University students—helping them gain hands-on exposure to the tools defining the future of tech and innovation.
Community members, students, and professionals are all welcome to attend this free event and be part of the growing ecosystem that’s shaping South Carolina’s digital future.
