National AccessAbility Week: MPPs Breakfast Reception at Ontario Legislature

In recognition of this important week, this breakfast reception at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario (Queen’s Park) will bring together Members of Provincial Parliament (MPPs) and their teams for a non-partisan dialogue on advancing accessibility and inclusion across Ontario.
The gathering will provide an opportunity to reflect on national commitments such as the Accessible Canada Act, the Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) 2022, and Canada’s shared vision of achieving a Barrier-Free Canada by 2040. The discussion will also explore how collaboration between government, community leaders, employers, and accessibility advocates can continue strengthening inclusive policies and improving outcomes for persons with disabilities across Ontario.
The session will also help identify practical opportunities for collaboration between policymakers, employers, and community leaders to advance accessibility, inclusive employment, and Ontario’s long-term commitment to a barrier-free society.
Held during National AccessAbility Week, the reception aims to encourage meaningful dialogue and relationship-building among policymakers and leaders working to advance accessibility and inclusive participation across the province.
This gathering is part of the broader ENABLE Canada initiative led by Enabled Talent, which brings together policymakers, institutions, employers, and community organizations to support practical pathways toward a barrier-free workforce and society.
