National AccessAbility Week: MPPs Breakfast Reception at Ontario Legislature
Held during National AccessAbility Week, this breakfast reception at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario (Queen’s Park) brings together Members of Provincial Parliament (MPPs) and their teams for a non-partisan dialogue on advancing accessibility and inclusion across Ontario.
The session will reflect on national commitments such as the Accessible Canada Act, the Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) 2022, and the shared vision of a Barrier-Free Canada by 2040. It will also focus on practical collaboration between policymakers, employers, and community leaders to strengthen inclusive policies and improve outcomes for persons with disabilities.
This gathering is part of the broader ENABLE Canada initiative led by Enabled Talent, connecting government, institutions, employers, and community organizations to support real, actionable pathways toward a barrier-free workforce and society.
