About Event
This introductory lesson is designed to provide foundational knowledge and hands-on experience operating a manual mill. Students will learn about the mill’s components, safety protocols, and basic machining techniques. The session covers essential topics such as mounting workpieces, selecting cutting tools, setting speeds and feeds, use of the digital readout and performing simple milling operations. Emphasis is placed on understanding how manual mills function, the principles of material removal, and interpreting engineering drawings related to parts machined on a mill.
