hi, welcome to another gapp event! :)
the gapp is a community for girls in apps — we host events, have a Slack channel, and figure out the messy parts of building a career in this industry together.
working in apps means spending a lot of time making things happen on a screen. shipping features, launching campaigns, testing new ideas, chasing growth, monitoring retention, and somehow always finding one more thing to optimize.
we love it. we also thought app growth week could use a few hours where the only thing we’re trying to grow is our creativity.
join us for our very first women in apps art cafe, our anti-tech tech event: an afternoon to put the phones down, paint ceramics, meet other women working in apps, and ship something very different for once.
come alone or bring a friend. make something beautiful, make something slightly questionable, and meet the people behind the products, campaigns, and growth charts we spend our days working on.
spots are limited and registration is required. we’re keeping the group intentionally small so there’s actually time to get to know the people around the table.
