About Event

Toronto has one of the most ambitious climate plans in North America, but it has no strategy to activate the single largest source of household emissions - what people eat - or to support the local food systems that benefit when demand shifts.

During this experiential Dinner and Table Talk, we'll be highlighting original data that clearly illustrates how activating the demand side of the food ecosystem - our citizens - will lead us to a more sustainable food future.

About the Host: About the CCFE - As a national non-profit, we help impactful ideas get the attention they deserve. By connecting supply-side partners with their ideal audience, we inspire people to take action through food. Our goal? A delicious, healthy food system that works in harmony with nature.

About Zestyplan - Zestyplan partners with organizations to activate measurable, lasting behaviour change around food for their communities, employees and members. Food choices are the single highest-impact climate action individuals can take. But most people don't know it and most organizations aren't activating it. We built the platform that changes both.

The Depanneur - The Depanneur is an ongoing, evolving social and culinary experiment; a prototype and proof-of-concept exploring food’s role in building community, creating opportunity and celebrating diversity. It has evolved over the years into a convivial urban food hub where food producers, creators and consumers can connect to explore food ideas in a fun, informal setting.
