About Event

Founders: Meet your Engineers.

You've been ideating for a few weeks. Building an MVP on Claude Code. Talking to potential customers. But now, you need to take on the next step: working with a real engineer. Someone who can ship. Turn your scrappy MVP into a secure, working demo to put in your customers' hands.

Engineers, you're talented. You know the latest technologies. You're able to understand what you build. You're confident in shipping the most spectacular products. But you don't have THE idea. You haven't heard of what a term sheet is. You have no idea how to reach out and sell to your first customers.

So we're introducing you two. Shark-tank style.

Founders, convince engineers to work with you.
Engineers, find the founder you click with. The one with whom your mission is aligned.

So this is how it goes:

15 engineers & 15 founders will be selected based on their skills, pitch, mvp, portfolio.

Schedule

A few days before:

  • The list of participants will be shared a few days before the event starts. You can start searching for people and projects.

  • You fill in a form and will be matched with someone you would vibe with (no necessarily your match, but at least you can meet someone cool).

The day of:

  • 5pm: You come into Pareto's office. Food and drinks will be served.

  • 5:30pm: 15 founders pitch for 1min each. Followed by 1min Q&A.

  • 6pm: Every engineer introduces themselves in 1min.

  • 6:15pm: Networking & Matching.

  • 7pm: Matches are made. You start building together.

  • 9pm: Demos. 1min per team to show what you've built so far.

  • 9:30pm: End.

A few weeks later:

  • You come back and pitch your working demo to investors.

  • 2-hour pitching competition.

  • Winners get cash & 1-1 meeting with investors.

Who can participate:

  • founders: you need an idea, a pitch deck, a mvp, and to be in conversations with your first customers. Serious founders only.

  • engineers: you need to come from a technical background (STEM degree). You can be a student or working at a company. Provide your portfolio of projects + GitHub. Serious tech engineers only.

There is no requirement for age, school, or experience.
Just show us that you are serious about building something big.
