CRIME REHERSAL (2024, 5 min, Experimental) Directed by Jingyu Liu : "After being released from detention, Lao Cai takes a relexing trip in Shanghai with his friend Lao Jin, searching for the abandoned quarry pit as they chat about wealth and poverty the two reflect on their lives. (*Premierd at 2024 FIRST Film Festival)
LENS AND LIES (2024, 5 min, Documentary) Directed by Jinglu Ji : “An ordinary family dinner, my uncle gets drunk and acts out. To protect the childrenfrom being affected, the adults lied that I was filming a movie and that my uncle was rehearsing his performances.”
WANGFUJING (2024, 177 min, Documentary) Directed by Ruibo Liu : “In the summer 2017 at Beijing’s Wangfujing, a group of homeless"drifters" survived on tourists’ scraps, shared cheap liquor, and discussed philosophy. While they cared for each other like family, their struggles with alcohol dependency, gang ambitions strained their bonds while the outside world was rapidly changing as well.” (*2024 Torchlight Filmmakers' Best Picture)

“2017 年夏天在北京王府井,这群被称为盲流的人用游客浪费的食品充饥、抽游客丢下的烟头、喝着最便宜的烈酒。他们谈论着东方哲学,像亲人一样相互照顾,抱团取暖。他们对酒精的依赖、对帮派权力的渴望、对同性倾向的暴露使彼此的关系也逐渐出现裂痕。他们各自逃避着的心魔纠缠着每一个人… 而“乌托邦”外面的世界也在快速地变化着。”
