About Event

AI is now firmly in the campaign toolkit, and when the right tools are used well, it's a game changer: speeding up the groundwork and managing tasks so that organisers and volunteers have more time for having the conversations that actually move people.

Persuasion bots, agentic workflows, and AI-generated content at scale can all make campaigns faster, sharper and more responsive than ever before. The opportunity these tools offer is real, but it comes with risks worth taking seriously: errors that scale fast, accountability gaps, data and privacy issues, and resistance to AI-mediated contact, all of which can lead to the loss of trust in a campaign.

This session is about making the most of the opportunity: what's working, where the real gains are, and what it would take to use these tools at scale in service of relational organising, without eroding trust.

Speakers include:

  • Kanishka Narayan MP, Minister for Artificial Intelligence (invited)

  • James Rees, Co-Founder, Movement

  • Hannah O'Rourke, Director, Campaign Lab

This event is being kindly supported by Movement.

This event is part of The Campaign Fringe, a full day of events, training sessions, and exhibits. For more details and to see the rest of the agenda, see here.
