🚌 24Q4 CTA Task Force Critical Obstacle: The lack of a cross functional coalition to optimize the equitable deployment of bus and EV infrastructure for mode shift and beneficial electrification that is reliable and drives inclusive prosperity.
90-Day Sprint: Present a mapping tool with CTA, ComEd, city, state, county, and federal data that identifies suggested critical corridor(s) of focus to invited coalition of local business, workforce development, alderman, community organizations and legislatures.
12-Month Goal: Design, brand and mobilize a campaign/advocacy plan with days of action to realize combined benefits of mode shift and beneficial electrification.
⚡️ 25Q3 Grid Optimization Critical Obstacle: The development a suite of strategic solutions and cost-effective investments in the gas delivery system to deliver affordable, resilient, and decarbonized energy faster and more reliably
90-Day Sprint: Convene key community stakeholders and utility partners in Auburn Gresham, Rockford, and Carbondale to prioritize needs, best possible outcomes and potential virtual pilot opportunities.
12-Month Goal: Present/publicize a virtual pilot design for these communities to deploy interoperable DER, gas delivery, and workforce solutions that leverages rebates/funding, targeted upgrades and alternative low carbon sources.
🏆 The 25Q4 Chicago Dinner will raise funds for the Midwest Carbon League, a subgroup of The Carbon League 501c3, which supports Fellows and programmatic efforts to achieve Task Force objectives.
The Carbon League provides career development for graduate students and technical assistance, programming and coaching for public, private and civic leaders to deliver measurable progress on climate, health, energy and prosperity commitments in 90 day sprints as high-performance teams.
