InterdepenDance Civic Jam β
βInterdepenDance Civic Jam Β· Build America v2.50 πΊπΈ
βJuly 4th, we celebrate. July 5th, we build. π οΈ
βThe Civic Jam is a one-day build-athon to follow the InterdepenDance Day festival on the 4th:
βVisit interdependanceday.org to learn more about the full weekend of celebrations.
βCome with an idea, a skill, or just curiosity. Assemble your crew, pick something worth jamming on, and spend the day making it real. You'll leave with real progress: a software prototype, a grassroots campaign, or even a song πΆ
βπ§ Our Game Plan
βπ Arrive (11:00): Grab coffee, a name tag, and meet the room.
βπ Pick a mission (11:30): Ideas live on the board, grouped by theme. AI π€, voting π³οΈ, money in politics πΈ, and more. Join a crew that pulls you, or start your own and gather a few people.
βπ οΈ Build (midday to afternoon): You've got the day to jam on it. Light checkpoints keep things moving. A plan by midday, a direction by mid-afternoon, something to show by the end.
βπ€ Share (5:00): Every crew shows what they made.
βπ¦Έ Who this is for
βEverybody! You don't need to code, and you don't need to be an expert. You need an afternoon and a little curiosity.
βHigh-tech, low-tech, or no-tech. For a startup, a nonprofit, a civic project, or simply your neighbors. From local to national, come build a piece of the America v2.50 you want to live in.
βπ For Civic Partners
βThe Civic Jam can be a great opportunity to rally diverse superpowers around your mission. Fill out the form HERE so we can brainstorm beforehand on how to partner.
