4-Week Certification Series: (No cost)
This hands on, four-week workshop series is designed to help job seekers understand and adapt to today’s video driven hiring process while equipping you with the necessary and essential soft skills.
This series introduces participants to Ceemingly.com, a video-based hiring solution in King County and the newest partner of Workforce Development Council and WorkSource.
Important: Participants are encouraged to bring their resume (PDF format) and, if available, a pre-recorded video resume prior to class but this is not required. Bring your laptop! Limited laptops will be provided for those who do not have one.
Class Schedule:
Class 1: March 27th, 2026 10am-12pm
Class 2: April 3, 2026 10am-12pm
Class 3: April 10, 2026 10am-12pm
Class 4: April 17, 2026 10-1pm (Class and Ceremony)
Participants will learn how to:
Understand how modern hiring systems screen candidates
How to use AI for job searching and how to apply it properly to your resume
Create a Ceemingly applicant profile (No cost)
Learn how to record a clear, professional video cover letter and video resume using basic equipment (Equipment available for use on site if needed)
Learn the 6 essential skills and how to communicate your experience and career goals confidently
Align video presentations with their resume and what local employers look for when reviewing candidates
Hands on Workshop with Mock interviews from local employer drop ins for valuable guidance
Information on local employers that are hiring and role alignment
How to properly apply for work
Learn basic computer skills for work applications
Sessions includes a live demonstration, step-by-step guidance using Ceemingly’s 59-second video resume framework and great interviewing tips. Time will also be reserved for questions and answers as well as participant support in each class.
This workshop is designed to reduce barriers for all applicants including individuals impacted by limited access to technology and to support equitable hiring opportunities.

We are limited on the number of computers available for use. Please let us know if you need a computer so we may reserve on for you. We encourage you to bring your own if you have one. Free Wi-Fi on site available to all.
